My very first post, from August of 2014, is below:
It is amazing how fast the summer has flown by - speaking of flying, I'll be heading to Ireland for the first time in just two days! I am so thankful for such a great opportunity and cannot imagine what the next four months might have in store. Although I am going to miss both BC and my family in New Jersey, I have consistently been advised to do a semester abroad if at all possible - so I am beyond excited that the possibility of doing so is now a reality.
From researching the top 'no foreign transaction fee' credit cards to taking advantage of Amazon's seemingly improbable free 2-day shipping (although it is only a trial) to pick up a few last-minute items, I am as ready as ever to make the 7-hour journey across the Atlantic. University College Dublin, Ireland, and much of Europe, here I come!
